I'm an experienced electronic freak and can build easily and fast prototypes and complete devices with all kind of functions. After school I become an electronic engineer and always loved to build or repair all kind of electronic devices and computers(PET, ATARI, C0, C64, C128, Amiga, IBM PC's and so on... until today.
From 1990 I started developing new electronic control modules for haunted houses and fun rides.
It was along learning curve about EMV and other stuff that occurs in this environment.
Now I can build robust and cheap devices using PIC Microcontrollers and SMD parts.
After defining the requirements the development process starts with drawing the schematic.
I'm using Target from IB-Friedrich as design platform which is a powerful PCB design and auto router Software.
When schematics are complete - the parts are placed on the PCB and everything is controlled in real-time 3D.
Then the PCB is ordered and when it is arrived a first prototype is soldered and tested.
Then the firmware needs to created, debugged and programmed.
At last the housing must be built for the board.

This is an example of my prototyping process.
